"This event was a huge success last year, so we are thrilled to once again partner with the Convention Center to provide this free opportunity to the community," said Betsy Brennan, President & CEO of the Downtown San Diego Partnership. "Collaborations like this are an excellent way to highlight Downtown's adventurous spirit, wellness-oriented vibe, and the diversity of experiences our neighborhoods have to offer."

We are thrilled to partner for this event with CorePower Yoga. The mission of CorePower Yoga is to show the world the incredible, life-changing things that happen when you root an intensely physical workout in the mindfulness of yoga. The event will feature three experienced instructors, each of whom will be teaching throughout the evening. Dannie Martin manages the CorePower Pacific Beach studio  and Laura Monk and Danielle Brummett oversee the Mission Valley location.

"One of our intentions for 2019 is to continue to create ways to open our doors to the community that we serve," said Clifford "Rip" Rippetoe, CVE, San Diego Convention Center Corporation President & CEO.
Yoga instructors

The three instructors excel in creating a comfortable space for large groups. We will be welcoming back DJ Justin Kanoya who specializes in energizing crowds at fitness events and yoga sessions.

For those who have yet to experience the Sails Pavilion, either at all or recently, the class will be held in a colorful, illuminated space featuring our new LED lighting. We'll also be offering a selection of Valentine's Day-inspired culinary treats (think spicy chocolates and fun twists on hot cocoa) for purchase from our Food and Beverage partner, Centerplate.

Insider tip: Thanks to our partners at the Grand Hyatt, enjoy three hours of complimentary self-parking in their garage with validation (and purchase) at Sally’s Fish House & Bar.  Enjoy $7 select wines and $6 draft beers at Sally’s as a Yoga Under the Sails attendee!

We hope to see you on February 12!
