The SDCCC has a nine-member board of directors who set policy for the Corporation. The city council appoints seven voting members to three-year terms. Two non-voting members are appointed by the San Diego County Hotel-Motel Association and the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Now celebrating 20 years of success, the Convention Center has generated $18 billion in regional economic benefits, $359 million in tax revenues and supports 12,500 jobs countywide.
