The San Diego Convention Center is a great source of civic pride and serves as our region's premier gathering place. At one time or another, most residents have attended a graduation, banquet, seminar or other community event in our building. Many public and consumer events like the popular San Diego International Auto or the San Diego Bridal Show are San Diego traditions and attract tens of thousands of locals downtown. This year more than 240,500 locals attended 152 community-based events.
