Since opening last October, the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego has been captivating our convention attendees with its unique blend of posh accommodations, cutting-edge technology and unparalleled service. The hotel’s luxurious studio rooms and rock star suites all feature custom-designed furnishings, m-bar refreshment centers and integrated video and sound systems, including 42" LG flat screen HDTVs.
Located at the entrance to the Gaslamp and directly across the street from the Convention Center, the Hard Rock Hotel has not one, but two Gerber Group celebrity bars – the Moonstone Lounge, a chic rooftop bar located poolside on the hotel’s fourth-floor deck, and the Sweetwater Saloon, a more casual lobby bar. The hotel also boasts San Diego’s first Nobu restaurant featuring Japanese-Peruvian cuisine by internationally acclaimed chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and Maryjane’s Coffee Shop serving classic American fare with a contemporary twist.
In addition to its relaxing, full-service Rock Spa and shimmering rooftop pool, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego offers 40,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting and event space, including Woodstock, a 9,000-square-foot outdoor event space overlooking the Gaslamp Quarter, and the Vault, a 5,000-square-foot room, perfect for an intimate, live concert or unplugged set, a movie premier or a corporate event.
Because Hard Rock is synonymous with world-class rock n’ roll entertainment, the Grammy Award-winning band, the Black Eyed Peas, headlined the hotel’s grand opening bash in December. Band members also designed one of the hotel’s VIP Rock Star Suites to create the ultimate guest experience.
