Facility Security

Hosting a successful event takes the best people and event security is no exception. In addition to the Guest Services/Asset Protection staff the Convention Center provides in public areas, clients may contract with their own private security vendor for their event:

  • Staff that is knowledgeable about our building.
  • Professional, courteous, efficient staff experienced and trained for special events.
  • Uniformed security and top-notch customer service.
  • Supervisors, booth attendant and meeting room monitor services that can be customized to your event needs.
  • Off-site event staffing capabilities.

(Please note: All security staffing and emergency response planning is subject to SDCCC review and approval and should be discussed with your Event Manager)
